We would like to call it as ‘Dubbing Decease’ bothering the Kannada cinema industry. In the wake of Competition Commission of India asking explanation on why dubbing is not allowed in Karnataka state on a complaint received from Ganesh Chetan, it was a thorough discussion at Atria Hotel today evening. The meeting went on for nearly two hours.

The CCI has sent copies of 2000 pages letter to KFCC, KFPA, KANFIDA, KCWF, KCA and all the heads of the association present on Thursday evening at KFCC decided to take up the legal battle individually.

That means to say for one question ‘Why Dubbing not allowed in Karnataka’ – there will be six replies to it. December 4th is the time fixed for giving explanation.

At the Atria Hotel today for ‘Dubbing Decease’ meeting presided over by KFCC President B Vijayakumar, super star Shivarajakumar, Upendra, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Jaggesh,  KV Chandrasekhar, Dr Jayamala, RocklineVenkatesh, cinema workers federation Ashok, directors association president MS Ramesh, Kannada Film Producers Association President Munirathna Naidu, Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy Chairperson Thara Anooradha, committee members of KFCC were present.

Shivarajakumar in his address stated that we have to give a fitting reply via constitution on this dubbing issue.

Other members who spoke on this occasion expressed that there should not be any chance for ‘Dubbing’ in the state.
